2004 United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) field office in Hiroshima hosted a one-week training workshop for heritage professionals from Asian countries for more than 10 years. The object of the workshop was to empower these professionals in the preparation of nominations of heritage places to UNESCO's World Heritage List. F. LeBlanc and Jeff Cody from the GCI participated to five of these workshops as instructors.
